We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations (GDPR).
2. Hosting and E-Commerce Platform (Shopify)
Our shop is hosted on the servers of Shopify Inc. (Shopify International Ltd., Ireland). Shopify provides us with the e-commerce platform through which we sell our goods. The data you enter when placing an order is processed on Shopify's secure servers. Details on data processing can be found in Shopify's privacy policy.
3. Data Collection for Orders & Deposits (Downpay)
(1) When you place a pre-order, we collect your name, shipping and billing address, email address, and payment data.
(2) For the pre-order model (deposits), we use the Downpay app. In connection with Shopify Payments, Downpay stores your credit card data securely and in encrypted form (Vaulting) to automatically collect the remaining payment when the container is shipped.
4. Invoicing and Tax Registration
For the processing of orders and to fulfill our legal accounting and tax obligations under Austrian law (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR), your invoice data (name, address, email address, and VAT ID if applicable) are processed within our proper bookkeeping system and transmitted to the competent tax authorities.
5. Your Rights
You have the right at any time to receive free information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. Contact office@apex-storage.ch for this.
